OUR SEASON

Hi my three weekly readers. Unlike you, I battle. Against permit checkers, liars, and the disreputable. Nothing has changed. And ya'll just accept. I'll throw it down. This site sucks. Fanhouse sucks. The WAR sucks. Fuckin' Applebee's and McDonalds suck too. Thanks for comin' through Jamie. And all you WAR supporting bloggers. Oh, not that WAR. The internet, oh wait, GWB says the intranets, and "My Pet Goat" I'm saying, reduce, reuse, recycle humanity. Isn't that what its down to? You get it good and original, and then you homogonize it. But you know whats pretty fuckin cool, no, not John Travolta in "Hairspray", when he said the $5 dollar vanilla shake thing, that was cool.

Ya'll out there ain't cool. You accept that you "had the chance" to write and disappeared. Pat Tillman got a triangular pattern on his forehead, from 10 yds away. I'm fortunate to be the mayor of Simpleton, and I see life in black and white...with rabbit ears. Nobody gave us an oppurtunity, it was stolen from you for safe. People make $$ off this net, and you just move on and accept it. Wern't you some of the most original Muther f en writers with a passion for your team? The swill I read on Fanhouse makes me laugh. Where are you Jamie? Rear view mirror is where we are and have been. Oh, and the fact I paid AOL $$ cuz  wanted to write. Oh, they sooo free and useless now.

But...I love But. I feel good about football. I am fortunate enough to be able to attend a few games. My team was dissappointing in the P'OFFS. But we have a window, a fuckin' bay window over a harbor I and you have never seen. I love reversing grammer, and making it all about ...SD.

So...drive over your bridge in Anytown USA, and say...they care. Fightin' em over there so our infrastructure collapses here. Least you got your life right? I'm psyched. But I never give up. Educate yourself, know the Chargers are good. My WWII decorated grandpa went with it for 4 years, he is done. Never has seen such disrespect on the field. Like how this mix is goin'?

This is just the basic intro to 07, 08...ya'll just melded off into oblivion and accepted it. Well I knew it was gettin' good for me when Fanhouse struck without warning, but they are basically red dye #4. We used to have a good thing. But good things are always replaced in our disposable society. AOL went broke soon after, but they charged to end and outsourced to India. Then went free after their multi million dollar running yellow man campaign.

I hate you AOL, but I made a promise to myself when you released us from our free creativity you milked for 2 years, I would follow suit with my blog. Cuz I started it the year the Bolts got good, out of the blue. Consensus last place picks in '04 and I took the blog on in good faith and got kicked to the curb. Jamie, you have never returned like you said to "check up" on what you left behind. Nor has the "New Pigskin Bloggers" site ever materielized either. Thats cool.

Chargers don't have the rings...yet. Have faith ye of little faith. I don't do preseason. This blog will resurrect, and you will bow like the underlings in "Children of the Corn"  OUTLANDER! Accept this. We are better than you. This all started in the season opener in '04, road victory over the Texans with Brees at QB. Time to finish it.

And to all you Raider fans, um...achoo! Little too much Culpepper in my salad. Jamarcus, where are u?12/24/06 Happy F in Xmas Seahawks...07 and oh yeah...08

Nuthing Is Changing Or Different Here

As I enter the graveyard that is now the original Pigskin Bloggers shudder I do not, play on words for you cool enough to remember a band that was blowin' up when the Bolts were gettin' there through a direct horn to George Burns back in '95. Oh God!

Before I write my epitah on this site, and know what lies before me...and all mutha f...hs, that say your true new blues? Let me say this...

Another Chapter In The Tragic Comedy of Errors

I still have yet to type a winning playoff blog. It's going on 3 years of blogging and goddammit it just isn't meant to be for SD! Ghosts of playoff past rose from Qualcom's field. The uncanny knack of the Chargers in they're history of playoff failure. When we achieve a critical 3 and out late in the game, Parker fumbles the punt! McCree gets an INT late, and is stripped of the ball. NE gets it back. That was like on a NE 4th and 8. Why the runback the way he did it? Drayton's drive continuing head butt, would have been our ball again. It amazes me and kills my spirit. No excuses, we did lose. We served it up 5 star style and on a silver platter to the Pats. We even threw in a lap dance for free. God Almighty, bet for the Pats and slighted his only son's choice!

In the last 2:00 did we not go to the prevent defense? Does it always work? Yes, it prevents us from winning! Another that falls on Marty is the decision to go for a 4th and fairly long or a 47 yd FG. He went for it, sack. A possible Fg, off the board. If it were that simple there is the difference, we lost by 3. But it isn't. There is much more to whine about. But I feel like I caught my wife cheating on me with my best friend, and I got mugged, and I'm being chased by the roto saw metal ball from Phantasm! I've absorbed too much mental anguish being a Charger fan. Expectations and high hopes, never met. More coming...

Deuce's Wild

I must give a shout out to the Saints. It looked as if they were going to run out the clock when Reggie Bush fumbled, giving Philly one last gasp. They went 3 and out and punted! With like a minute left! Andy has to be second guessing that now. I thought Brees was snake bitten again. The Gods smiled upon him this day. With help from himself and the unstoppable Deuce McAllister. A 4th quarter maniac, he singlehandedly won them the game. The way he squeezed out yds was amazing. Colts beat the Ravens, we know where we stand. Gotta play this out today. Keep the streak alive.

The Battle of San Diego

I feel it too. That little bit of SD anxiety and worry. All the sports talk shows are saying it. We are an unproven playoff team and Rivers played lousy the last 4 games and he will be a liability. It's possible. I'm amongst the minority who totally believe with a tiny twinge of doubt. I remember this about the 2006 season, did we ever not just totally not show up? NEVER. We even almost won the two we lost at Baltimore and KC. When Rivers is down, others step up. We have a team. We have a defense with Merriman. The Pats are elite in the playoffs, like 11-1 or something. Thats hard to beat. But we may be developing our own mini dynasty and we need to knock them off their pedestal.

I have returned from working in 30 degree weather and listening to all sportsradio proclaim the Chargers demise and mighty NE and the sweatsuited genius Bellechick. I swear I think I only heard Colin Cowherd on his show say he liked the Chargers. Trey Wingo said we were toast basically. I like Colin, Rome's act is getting old. That's so funny I spit coffee on my monitor Jim, for like the last 7 years. Boring.Anywho. They're opinions mean nothing to me. It's like musician's who win Grammy's. A nod to the mainstream opinion. Well guess what ESPN bad suit wearin' so called experts, I'm goin' against the grain on this one and picking the Chargers. Wonder why? C'mon now. This is a biased blog to the bone.

I hear the cries of Marty's 5-12 record in the playoffs. And Bellichick's near perfection. He is 11-1 or 12-2, nothing to sneeze at. I think Marty is an old dog who has taken on a few new tricks this year and is not afraid to use them. And he will pull out all the stops with Cameron's help and all the coaches. The players are for sure more psyched than they have ever been in their careers. I would be lying if I didn't say this is a VERY dangerous team and has the tools to best us. I think we have a few more tools in the chest. No, not that kind of tool silly! There is a playoff game in San Diego this Sunday. The city is ready for it. And all will be watching.

 GO CHARGERS!!!

Let It Be LT

LaDanian Tomlinson was selected as MVP of the NFL today. He is the 1st Charger ever given the honor. He deserves it. The Franchise. It was unanimous. He got like 44 votes and runner up Drew Brees got 4 or so. This continues the trend of the 2006-7 Chargers. Precedent setters. Exploring new worlds, thats one small step for LT, a giant leap for the Bolts! It just keeps going and going.

The mayor of Vegas called the Chargers I hear, trying to woo them away from SD. The Las Vegas Chargers? All I remember about Vegas football tradition was that "He Hate Me" dude from the XFL. Oh, and Craig Whelihan, x Charger starter who sucked and faded into the XFL, probably buffered by an Arena League stint as well. Sheesh. But the mayor was rebuffed and told the Bolts are staying in SD. But in pro sports, anybody can pull a "Saban" at any moment. Like the vote of confidence for the manager in baseball. He's gone. But Vegas ain't happening anytime soon.

We will be playing KC, NYJ, or NE whoever the lowest seed that wins is. Just for revenge I want the Jets. No fear of sweat suit boy Belichick's schemes or Larry Johnson of KC if we happen to play either one of them. It's about that Kaeding miss in the playoffs a few years back. The Jets. I'm rooting for ya, come back to our house. Need to get that playoff win, validate our regular season and get that 1st ever elusive major title for San Diego in any sport. The defunct SD Sockers or Gulls don't count. Hey, what happened to the AFL2 team in SD, the Riptide? Never heard of them? Well, there ya go. GO CHARGERS!
